Anything That Can Be Drawn

Tables are where the studio started. A note on everything else it builds, and why every piece begins as a drawing.

A sculptural table with the Tekton mark

People find Tekton through a table. It is the piece that shows the most: a slab, a pour, a steel base, the joinery that holds them together. But a table is only one way to put wood, resin, metal and stone in a room.

The same hands and the same shop build sculpture, carved wall reliefs, benches and stools, shelving and cabinets, floor lamps and pendants, pivot doors and screens, and pieces sized for a hotel lobby or a gallery floor.

Every one of them starts the same way, as a drawing. An exploded view shows each part pulled apart: what it is made of, how big it is and how it fits to the next. The client sees the piece before a single cut, and the shop builds from the same sheet.

If it can be drawn, it can be built. That is the brief we work to.
